I moved to Durham about the time Chip left St. Stephen’s and did not meet him. He served as interim at St. John’s, Glyndon, MD, where my father was rector 1952-66, the parish that sponsored me for ordination. Chip was by all accounts a priest of great integrity and vision, and we are all diminished by his death.
